We are a proud Tasmanian not-for-profit childcare provider of Long Day Care, Outside School Hours Care, Vacation Care services. and state-wide Family Day Care services. We encourage outdoor and self-directed play, getting messy and having fun within caring and safe boundaries.

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a programs..  You will play a leadership role in the development and monitoring of our philosophy, mentoring of other staff and maintenance of our QIP and Programming – in addition to working directly with the children.

You will have the opportunity to work with the leadership team in your Centre to develop and implement contemporary practices.  The role involves a high level of autonomy.

You will receive ongoing support and mentoring from the Centre Leader, Manager of Long Day Care and our Educational Leader.

This position is full time however, we would consider the flexibility of a four day week for the right person.

Early Childhood Teacher approved ACECQA Qualification
Current WWVP card
Willingness to embrace the values and philosophies of Adventure Patch
A strong understanding of the regulatory framework and a commitment to working within the NQS framework.

Experience in a childcare setting
Experience or aptitude for leading a team
Experience or aptitude for designing and implementing programs and to assist with programming
